October 2007. This is one of my favorite images. The subject is Rory and she was a turtle for her first Halloween. Her age at the time was seven months. She was very interested in the camera and kept crawling towards me, so I took mostly closeups and learned a lot about my focusing skills! She continues to be one of my favorite subjects.
